Get ready to do a lot more shivering this weekend, and if you haven't already done so over the last few days, a lot more shoveling!
Lake effect snow will linger tonight producing an additional couple of inches mainly south of Rochester. As a storm makes its way up the eastern seaboard tomorrow, snow will fall from hilltop to lakeshore starting midday tomorrow, and continuing into Sunday morning.
The heaviest of the snow from this system in Western NY and the Finger Lakes will take place overnight Saturday night into Sunday morning. Accumulations will be on the order of 6 to 10 inches for most of the area, with tallies in excess of 10 inches in the Bristol Hills and through most of the Finger Lakes.
