We have new information on a crash that killed a two-year-old boy on Dewey Avenue Friday night.

Rochester Police have identified the child and another person who died in the crash. The two-year-old was David Figueroa of Rochester. He was in a car driven by his mother, Desirae Lowe, when police say they were hit by a car being driven by 35-year-old Yevette Ebanks of Rochester. Ebanks also died in the crash. A 15-year-old male passenger in her vehicle is currently at Strong Memorial Hospital in the ICU.

This all happened around 10:15 p.m. Friday. Greece Police tell us the car driven by Ebanks may have been involved in a larceny at the Dewey Avenue Walmart.

Investigators say they tried to pull the car over but it took off. Police did not chase the car but the crash happened shortly after that.
