Police say he was drunk and driving more than 20 miles over the posted speed limit. Now a Macedon teen is facing a slew of charges.

Macedon Police say 16-year-old Cooper Zurich was under the influence when he drove 20 miles over the speed limit in the Village of Macedon and then drove over 80 miles per hours in the town. Investigators say Zurich was trying to run from police when he pulled into a driveway and lost control of the vehicle.

Zurich is charged with excessive speed, DWI, failure to obey a police officer, illegal signal, no license and license violation.

Zurich was remanded to the Wayne County Jail in lieu of $2,500 bail. He is due back in court on January 28.
