If Interstate 390 is part of your nightly commute, you may need to use a different route for the next few nights.
Starting Wednesday, December 18, Interstate 390 will be closed between West Henrietta Road (Exit 16) and Scottsville Road (Exit 17) from 11:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. while steel girders are set into place on the Kendrick Road bridge over the expressway and the Erie Canal in Brighton. Work will take place during the overnight hours for three to four nights, as weather conditions permit. There will be no impacts to traffic on Kendrick Road.
When I-390 is closed, southbound traffic will be directed to exit at Scottsville Road to Jefferson Road to West Henrietta Road back to I-390 South. Northbound traffic will be directed to exit at West Henrietta Road to Jefferson Road to Scottsville Road back to I-390 North. Detours will be posted.
Other various lane closures on 390 in both directions during the day and night hours will be implemented through the rest of the month to continue construction operations.
