Over the past few weeks, the Vision Family of Dealerships has been collecting toys. Some of you donated them, others they bought at the store.
On Thursday, those toys were delivered to Rochester General Hospital to spread a little holiday cheer to children. The toy drive has continued to grow and thanks to your donations and some help from Walmart, the Vision Automotive Group was able to give away $10,000 worth of toys last year.
Joe Cicione, Vision Special Events Coordinator, said, "These kids already are not facing enough hardships not being home, not being with their friends for the holidays. So what can we do to help that? Let's give them a toy. And the toys that come out here today, they stay here."
The toys that Vision delivers to RGH aren't just for Christmas. They will be given to children in the hospital all year round to help comfort them during a difficult time.
