Rochester Police say a man was rushed to the hospital Thursday evening after he was stabbed on the city's west side.
Police say that stabbing happened around 8:10 p.m. on Birr Street near Dewey Avenue.
News10NBC is told two men were involved in a fight at a house in that area and during that fight a 47-year-old man was stabbed in his upper body. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Rural/Metro with serious injuries, according to police, he is currently in stable condition.
The other man in that fight, also suffered cuts and was taken to Strong as well. Investigators are still looking into the circumstances of the fight and charges are pending.
