A 63-year-old Rochester woman was killed in a four-vehicle crash in Henrietta Thursday evening. It happened on Route 252.
Deputies say 46-year-old Patrick Mulvehill of Pittsford was westbound on Route 252 at a high rate of speed without his headlights on when he struck a vehicle driven by Barbara Uthman in front of the post office. According to deputies, once Uthman’s vehicle was hit, it turned sideways and was sent into the eastbound lanes where it was t-boned by another vehicle.
Uthman was ejected from her vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
Mulvehill is charged with second-degree manslaughter and DWI. He was also ticketed for following too closely, passing a red light, no headlights and no tail lights. He is being held in the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
