A woman is facing arson charges after firefighters say she started a fire at an apartment building on Main Street in September.

The Arson Task Force has charged 50-year-old Angela Brown with arson. Investigators say Brown was involved in a dispute with a resident at Cedarwood Towers on East Main Street on September 14. They say Rochester Police removed her from the building, but she returned later on and started the fire.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire quickly and say no residents were displaced. One person did suffer minor smoke-related injuries.

Brown is currently being held in Monroe County Jail awaiting her arraignment.
