Here in Rochester the big show will be downtown, where you'll be able to bring in the new year with a fireworks display.

It all starts at 10 p.m. Tuesday night.

Ian Scott from Young Explosives spoke with News10NBC Tuesday evening. Young Explosives is the company in charge of the downtown display.

Again, all the action is at 10 p.m. Your best view will be from the Main Street Bridge. Just a reminder, Main Street will be closed beginning at 6:30 p.m. from South Avenue to Exchange Boulevard. That closure will last until 11 p.m. Tuesday.
