Police: Canandaigua man kicked officer during arrest

A Canandaigua man is facing multiple charges including resisting arrest after police say he kicked a police officer outside an Ontario County bar.

Police approached 30-year-old Samuel Santiago outside of the Pickering Pub on Main Street in Canandaigua after they noticed he was intoxicated. According to investigators, Santiago was placed under arrest after he became uncooperative with officers. We are told Santiago kicked one of the officers while he was being arrested.

Santiago is currently awaiting arraignment in Ontario County Jail where police say he faces charges including disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental officials and second-degree harassment.
