Two Canandaigua residents are facing charges after police say they set fire to an Ontario County house last month in an effort to collect on the insurance money.

Twenty-nine-year-old Shallamar Hayward-Crawford and 33-year-old Samuel Crawford are charged with arson after police say they started a fire that destroyed their Saltonstall Street home back in December. Two other homes were damaged during the blaze. A firefighter was also treated for smoke inhalation.

Twenty-one year old William Bradley Jr. also faces arson charges. All three are currently being held at the Ontario County Jail.
