The Amerks haven't been winning much recently. Four losses over their last six games but defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen is bringing back his winning ways.
The 19 year old returned to the team this morning, a week after scoring the gold medal goal for Finland in the World Junior Championships.
Ristolinen netted the overtime game winner in the finals against Sweden to capture that gold for his home country Finland.
When asked by reporters why it took so long to get back to Rochester, the Sabres first round pick said he was partying in Finland.
Now Ristolinen has returned in time for the Amerks three game western road trip that begins on Wednesday.
