Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso is a man of few words. The Professional Football Writers of America are doing the talking for the him.
They have named Alonso the defensive rookie of the year.
Alonso recorded 159 tackles, 4 interceptions and a sack while playing every single snap this season for the Bills.
The second round pick is the first Bills player to win rookie of the year since 1987.
This is the less prestigious rookie of the year award. The AP's are announced February 1.
