Officials from the Rochester City School Board are just wrapping up a news conference about efforts to fix problems in the Rochester City School District.
The plan involves forming four committees, made up of students, parents and community leaders. The committees will be expected to break down different issues, including student achievement and parent engagement and make recommendations to the board.
News10NBC also learned that principals and administrators in the Rochester City School District have decided to proceed with a vote of no confidence against the district superintendent, Bolgen Vargas, showing their disagreement with the superintendent's current plan for the district.
