Access to the arts is what the annual winter open house at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance is all about.
The theme of this year's event was "Passport to Music," with a focus on world music.
Families enjoyed a number of different performances and also got to learn about music fundamentals and about different instruments.
“There are so many ways that music is valuable to us as a society and as a culture, and it's a way for people to learn a skill and develop certain habits and disciplines that are useful to them across their entire lives,” said Peggy Quackenbush, President of Hochstein School of Music and Dance.
