Created: 01/19/2014 8:01 PM WHEC.com

If you're a First Niagara Customer you might have been caught off guard this holiday weekend by a call alerting you your ATM card had been canceled.

News10NBC checked with First Niagara on Sunday and learned the bank canceled the cards of customers who used them at Target during that massive data breach last month.

Officials told us they canceled the cards over concerns of data and identity theft.

A spokesperson said First Niagara is replacing the cards for those customers whose personal information may have been compromised.

They said your old card should still work until your new one is activated.

Bank officials said if you have any problems, you should call them at 1-800-421-0004 and they will be happy to help you.
