Mayor Lovely Warren is headed back to the White House. She was invited to return to Washington for the U.S. Conference of Mayors Meeting. Warren will join others to discuss ideas for job creation and economic growth.

Meanwhile, a few from the faith community held a prayer service in the mayor's honor Tuesday. Recently, Warren has come under fire in wake of an ethnics investigation involving the hiring of her uncle as part of her security team.  News10NBC found out that job has now been posted for other applicants.

Organizers say the community needs to come forward to show support for Mayor Warren.

Pastor Britt Pledger, Jesus the Christ Church, said, "Today, the gathering purpose was to come together and pray for Lovely Warren and her administration. I believe whole heartedly Warren is going to be an excellent mayor, but it's going to take the clergy support to make it happen."

Organizers say they plan to hold another service in the near future.
