A Hilton man was sentenced today in connection to a deadly crash in East Rochester in December 2012.

Donald Love was sentenced to one and one-third to four years in prison. Prosecutors say Love was running late for work the morning of December 14 and was speeding northbound in the southbound lane, passing several cars illegally at the intersection of Linden Avenue and North Washington Street. They say Love then entered the intersection against a red light, striking two cars in the process. One of the drivers of the cars struck, John Marcaitis, 53 of Fairport, was killed.

Love will also lose his license for one year.
