We're always looking for new ways to lose weight and now a new study suggests spending time in colder temperatures could help shrink your waistline.
Most of us adjust our indoor thermostat so we feel more comfortable when it's cold outside but researchers found when people spent just two hours a day at 62.6-degrees over six weeks, they had a decrease in body fat. That's because exposure to lower temperatures boosts the amount of energy the body expends similar to exercise.
They also discovered people get used to cold over time and can feel comfortable in temperatures as low as 59 degrees.
