He admits he robbed a half dozen banks.
Robert Stevenson, of Rochester, pled guilty in a Buffalo courtroom of robbing a First Niagara bank in Kenmore, New York in June of 2012.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says the 59-year-old also robbed banks in Syracuse, Utica, New Hartford, Falconer and Irondequoit from April to November 2012.
He faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and/or $250,000 fine. Stevenson will be sentenced in May.
