A Greece man is facing charges following an incident at a fire scene in Webster.

Christopher Schuldt, of Greece, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, unauthorized use of red and blue lights and failure to change his address with DMV. Criminal impersonation charges are pending.

Webster Police say Schuldt pulled up to the assistant fire chief at a chimney fire scene in Webster, said that he was a firefighter and asked if he could help. The assistant fire chief said yes and had him posted up blocking part of the road. When Webster Police asked the assistant fire chief if he knew the man, he said no. After further questioning and calling the Canandaigua Fire Department, Webster Police determined that Schuldt was no longer a firefighter. They also determined that he was driving on a suspended license and was not allowed to operate the red and blue lights from vehicle.

Schuldt is scheduled to appear in court on February 18.
