An Avon man is under arrest after deputies say he lead them on a chase.

The Livingston County Sheriff's Office says deputies tried to stop Cory Germano while he was driving on I-390 North in Avon. Deputies say he didn't pull over and then got off the expressway. Deputies say Germano wound up losing control of his car, went into a ditch and

then he took off on foot.

Deputies were able to take him into custody a short time later. The sheriff's office say Germano was wanted by state parole on an arrest warrant. He's being held in the Livingston County Jail without bail.
