First Responders honored by Webster-Fairport Elks club

They respond when we need help, and Thursday night, the Webster Fairport Elks, Honored firefighters, police officers and emergency medical technicians who help day in and day out.

This is the Annual Police, Fire, and Ambulance Recognition Dinner.

Agencies from the east side of Monroe County, as well as Wayne County were in attendance. Each department nominated one person who went above and beyond the call of duty this year, to be recognized at the dinner.

Cheryl Garlock, of the Webster-Fairport Elks Lodge said, “I don't think we honor our first responders enough. I think the Elks as a whole nationally and statewide really honor our first responders as well as our military. They’re very important to us.

This is the 44th year the Webster-Fairport Elks have honored first responders at this dinner.
