A new business has opened inside the former Tent City at Lyell and Dewey Avenues.

Thursday, we talked with the owner of Estate Liquidations Thrift Store.

Charles Petromallo says one thing his store does differently, Is teach future generations a few lessons about recycling and refurbishing items, to make them new again.

“It’s a learning lesson for them. It puts the product back into a usage and it teaches them how to respect the things they do gain through this journey in life,” says Petromallo.

He told us opening this store gives him a "spiritual" reward.
