Rochester Police say a woman was hurt on the city's north side after she was hit by a car early Saturday morning.

Investigators say Robin Maracle was walking on Bay Street when she was hit by a Honda Accord traveling eastbound on Bay Street west of Goodman Street. Maracle was hurt during the crash, but police say she suffered non-life threatening injuries.

News10NBC is told say the Accord left the scene following the crash, but was found a short time later. The driver was ticketed for leaving the scene, he told police he did not see Maracle prior to the collision. At this time, police do not believe alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
