An inmate is facing new charges after police say he attacked three officers.

State Police say 19-year-old Khamari Brown attacked two correctional officers inside Wyoming Correctional Facility. Troopers say Brown assaulted them in a dorm area of the facility, then attacked a Sergeant outside the hospital area. News10NBC is told the sergeant suffered a serious head injury in the altercation with Brown.

Brown was arraigned in Wyoming County Court and later handed back over to correctional officers. He's currently serving a sentence for attempted burglary for an incident in Onondaga County. Troopers say he'll be back in court to answer the assault charges at a later date.
