Students at the University Preparatory spent the day learning about what goes into an onstage production.

The Theatre Team Workshop Program offered by the Rochester Broadway Theatre League gives students at University Preparatory a chance to learn more about the arts.

Students are taught lessons around the theme of the show and are educated about the music in each show. Then they are taken to the theater to see the show live.

Bob Sagan, RBTL Director of Education, said, “How exciting it is when we have our  groups of students come in and they take their seats in the theater and the experience they have is a life-changing experience for many of them.”

More than 600 students will have the chance to take part in the "Sister Act" Theater Workshops. The show will be on stage at the Auditorium Theater February 11 through February 16.
