Snow, heavy at times through the afternoon, will accumulate at the rate of an inch per hour, at times.

Falling snow and blowing snow from increasing northerly and northeasterly winds will cause difficult traveling conditions. The steady snow will taper to flurries and minimal lake effect tonight after accumulating a total of about 8 inches in most areas and 10 to 12 inches in a few spots.
