People were braving the snow Wednesday. News10NBC spent some time in downtown Rochester. It wasn’t just bad enough to drive in. It was also hard to walk in or having to wait for the bus.
Rochester Genesee Regional Transit Authority helps thousands of people get to work every day and it has not been a smooth commute to say the least. Right now, there is 10 to 30 minute delay. Officials say this is normal for a day like this, but the delays may change depending on the roads.
In the meantime, people in downtown Rochester and throughout the area are doing their best to brave the cold.
Anna Blake said, “I have on three pairs of pants, two sweatshirts, a hoodie and this ski jacket and I've got five pairs of socks on.”
Sandra Jenkins: I admit that it's pretty but it's just hard to get around and everybody's late and then the buses run late and then there are accidents, more people fall. You just have to be more careful.”
