A group of business leaders came together to talk about the needs of the community.

The Rochester Community Coalition says it is focused on providing funding to municipalities, childcare, education, labor and non-profits.

The groups say it needs to develop a new strategy to get more aid.

Maggie Brooks, Monroe County Executive, said, "We've seen quite a bit of success when we all work to identify 2 or 3 important things for the community."

After they develop a complete list, the group will present it to state lawmakers in an effort to get funding for those projects.
