Fight leads to stabbing on Thurston Road

The Rochester Police Department says two men were injured after a late night fight escalated on the city's west side.

Police say they were called to Thurston Road near Milton Street for a report of a fight. When officers arrived, they found a 38-year-old man with a some cuts to his neck. He was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment.

Shortly after, a 30-year-old man arrived at Strong Memorial Hospital with a stab wound to his upper body.

Police say both men suffered non-life threatening injuries. Investigators say there was a fight involving several individuals, during which both victims were stabbed. No suspects are in custody at this time and the investigation is still ongoing.
