It was a full-circle celebration at John Marshall High School Saturday.
The Rochester City School District held its third annual Winter Graduation Ceremony.
District leaders say even though it might have taken these students a little longer to cross the finish line, it's still something to celebrate.
“I think whenever you finish the race there's a tremendous amount of satisfaction. But when that race is filled with hurdles and obstacles and people telling you you can't do it, I think that makes this extra special. So we want these students to know whether you graduate in June or August or December, the victory is the victory. You've crossed the finish line and that's reason to celebrate,” said Van White, RCSD Board President.
After the graduation ceremony, staff members and volunteers welcomed new families for a Pre-K and kindergarten registration fair.
