Rochester Police are investigating a shooting on the city's west side Saturday night.
Police say the shooting happened around 10:20 p.m. on Lyell Avenue.
Investigators say a 20-year-old man had left the mini-mart on Lyell Avenue when he got into an argument with an unknown group of men. They say as the man got into a parked car, one of the men from the group fired into the car as it was pulling away, striking the victim in his upper body.
News10NBC is told the victim was taken to Strong Hospital in a private car and is currently in stable condition.
Police say no arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
