A Farmington man, accused of having sexual contact with a six-year-old girl at a Victor daycare, was in Ontario County Court Monday morning.

According to our news partners at the Messenger Post, Sean Smith pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree sex abuse.

Investigators believe Smith sexually abused the girl at the Jack and Jill Child Care center in Victor late October. The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says Smith was an employee at the child care center for about six years and worked as a child care aide.

Smith's plea agreement includes five years in prison and 10 years of post-release supervision. He will be sentenced on March 19.
