Baby delivered in ambulance in Seneca County

Created: 02/10/2014 2:45 PM WHEC.com

It wasn't your typical day at the office for one Seneca County Sheriff's deputy.

The deputy responded to an apartment in Romulus for an apparent medical call early Thursday just before 8:00 a.m. But when he arrived, he discovered a pregnant woman in labor.

Investigators say the deputy called for help which arrived just in time to deliver the baby boy, who was four pounds, five ounces.

The baby, mother and father are all doing well.
