From Russia to Rochester, you’ve probably seen it in the winter Olympics. This morning, we curled closer to home.
Nikki Rudd was live at the Rochester Curling Club in Gates this morning to try her hand at curling.
As the nation's fascination with Olympic curling approaches full fervor, the Rochester Curling Club is inviting the public to see what the sport is all about. The club will hold an open house on Saturday, March 8 at 11:30 a.m. at the club's Gates location on Deep Rock Road.
The cost of the open house is $5 per person and $10 for a family of two adults and up to three children. Participants are asked to wear loose fitting, warm clothing and clean athletic shoes. Space is limited and reservations are required. To register, email your contact information and when you plan on attending to email@example.com or call 585-502-8751.
