February is Heart Health Month and News10NBC is working with the UR Medicine to help you keep your heart in shape.

On Wednesday, cardiologists from UR Medicine spent the day at Greece Ridge Mall offering free heart screenings and educational information. People could get their blood pressure checked and learn the warning signs of a heart attack or heart disease.

News10NBC spoke to one man who had a screening done.

Milt Braverman said, “I think it's a great community project and I think the community should be aware of what's available to prevent and treat heart disease.”
