Update: Woman suffered multiple injuries in East Rochester crash

A woman suffered two broken legs, a broken arm and head injury when she was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning. It happened near 408 West Commercial Street in East Rochester shortly after 8 a.m.

East Rochester Police tell News10NBC the 49-year-old woman was crossing the street when she was struck. Police say she was not walking in a crosswalk.

Investigators say sun glare could be a factor in the crash. Right now, the driver has not been ticketed.

According to police, the woman’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.
