He's a high school senior who's being recognized for doing the right thing. Marquis Young was nominated by a school bus manager, who says he helped to calm a serious argument.

School leaders say Young, who attends Fairport High School, was on the bus with a substitute bus driver when another student began yelling at driver, claiming his bus stop has been passed. Officials say Young then pulled the other student off the bus.

Marquis Young, “Do the Right Thing” winner, said, “I didn't know anything about the Doing the Right Thing award until this year, but I think people do the right thing every day and don't get awarded for it. So I just think it was the right thing to do”

Young is also a running back for the Fairport High School Varsity Football team.
