The Ontario County Sheriff's Office says a man is under arrest following a bank robbery Saturday morning.

Fifty-year-old John Burgio, of Holley, is being charged with robbery and grand larceny.

He is accused of robbing the Canandaigua National Bank on Main Street in Honeoye Saturday morning. Deputies say, following the robbery, they were able to track down Burgio in a remote area of Springwater. With the help of Livingston County deputies, Burgio was arrested at a cabin and taken into custody. A "substantial" amount of the stolen money was also recovered, according to the sheriff's office.

Burgio is currently in Ontario County Jail pending further court appearances.
