With the kids off from school this week, Be a Healthy Hero and REC on the Move are coming together to offer free activities aimed at keeping families active and healthy.

Show off your Olympic moves Monday at 9 a.m. at Genesee Valley Park where there will be free ice skating. The Martin Luther King Jr. ice rink will also have free ice skating Wednesday morning beginning at 9 a.m.

The week wraps up with a winter wonderland extravaganza at Martin Luther King Jr. Park on Friday starting at noon, where families can skate, make snowmen, snow shoe or do some fun crafts indoors.
