Avon man charged with robbing the Dutch Hollow Market

A 23-year-old Avon man is facing burglary charges in Livingston County.

Sheriff’s deputies say they responded to a robbery at the Dutch Hollow Market around midnight. According to investigators, the clerk told deputies he was punched as he tried to stop the suspect from leaving with an unknown amount of money.

Deputies identified the suspect as Charles Sutton. Investigators were able to locate him and charge him with robbery, petit larceny, criminal possession of a controlled substance and harassment.

Sutton was arraigned and is being held in the Livingston county Jail in lieu of bail.
