Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputies have arrested a man who they say stole quantities of liquor from the Marketview Liquor in Henrietta.

Andrew F. Freirich, 28, is charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, DWI and petit larceny.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary alarm at Marketview Liquor on Jefferson Road in Henrietta. When they arrived, they found a broken window and it appeared that quantities of liquor had been stolen. A witness told investigators that they saw a man break the glass window and then enter and exit the store several times. They said the suspect left the scene in silver Ford Mustang eastbound on Jefferson Road.

While sheriff’s deputies were at the scene, they say Freirich returned to the store driving a silver Ford Mustang. Deputies say he was intoxicated and bleeding from cuts he suffered while breaking the window of the store.

Freirich was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital. He was arraigned in Henrietta Town Court and remanded to the Monroe County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail or $60,000 bond.
