A Sodus man was hospitalized after a snowmobile accident in Wayne County.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office, Jeremy D. Littlefield, 33, was operating a snowmobile, when his ski hit a railroad track ejecting him from the sled.

The sheriff's department tells us Littlefield's girlfriend tried to take him to the hospital by car, but stopped at the Alton Fire Department and called 911. While there, Littlefield complained of shoulder and internal pain and was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital.

We still have no update on his condition at this time.
