Brighton man sentenced for sex trafficking minors

A Brighton man who pleaded guilty last year to sex trafficking minors was sentenced Thursday.

A federal judge sentenced Thomas Cramer to 30 years behind bars. Prosecutors say last year Cramer admitted to recruiting four underage girls to work for him as prostitutes, knowing they were underage.   

Authorities say he preyed on runaways and drug-users and advertised their services on an adult website.      

At sentencing, we're told Judge Frank Geraci said he wanted to send a strong message that abusing young people won't be tolerated.
