A woman claims she was fired from McDonald’s in Olean, NY, after buying food for firefighters who had been at a fire.

Heather Levia tells the Olean Times Herald she bought breakfast for the firefighters last Wednesday, after McDonald’s management and corporate officials told her the restaurant would not donate food.

Levia claims she was fired because she went against the company's wishes.

The franchise owner tells the paper Levia's claims aren't true, and says his company is thoroughly looking into this.
