State republican leaders are calling out Governor Cuomo, saying he owes the taxpayers for ads touting business in New York.

Republican chairman Ed Cox says those "Start Up New York" ads aren't helping business. He says they're nothing but advertisements for the governor's re-election campaign.

According to Cox, Cuomo has spent $100 million of taxpayer money on the ad campaign, money Cox says should be returned to the people of New York.

The Office of Governor Cuomo had no comment when we reached out to them Friday.
