More jobs could soon be coming to the area thanks to a local company's decision to stay in Rochester.

Governor Cuomo announced that Arnprior Rapid Manufacturing Solutions has signed a seven-year lease to stay at the Eastman Business Park.

The company had considered moving to Tennessee,  but decided to stay local and invest more than $3.5-billion in new technology and equipment.

That decision will save 150 jobs and add another 35.

Arnprior manufactures metals in the aviation, automotive, and medical industries.
