Batavia Police looking for bank robbery suspect

Batavia Police are looking for the woman who they say robbed the Five Star Bank on East Main Street in Batavia.

Police say a woman entered the bank just after 2:00 p.m. Monday and presented a note to a bank employee, saying she had a gun. The woman took off with an undisclosed amount of money. Police say no gun was displayed.

Police describe the suspect as a white female, in her mid-twenties, 5’7” to 5’8” in height and slim build. They say she had a large, bright pink tattoo of a butterfly on the left side of her neck. 

Anyone with information is asked to call the Batavia Police Department at 345-6350.
