A big honor for a local artist. Choreographer Garth Fagan is one of six African American legends being recognized in New York City this week.

He'll receive the Bill McCreary living legend award at a ceremony Wednesday night.

The award is given out to African-American New Yorkers who have made history in their home state over the years.
